Prince of Darkness

Joseph Lucas, the founder of Lucas Industries was humorously known as the Prince of Darkness in North America, because of the electrical problems common in Lucas-equipped cars, especially British Leyland products, and of course Rootes weren't immune either! ;@ Photo is from Seth's Hillman Minx.

Hillmanjames

This is Jame's Hillman, he bought the car for £500, James loves old cars. He did loads of work to it to get it through MOT, and then drove the car daily for around 7 months continually doing bits and pieces to keep it running nice, but still being at college 5 days a week meant he couldn't work enough to get the money to sort out problems with the steering rack and carburettor which were creeping up, so sadly he had to sell it.
He learned how to change head gaskets, radiators, rewire nearly everything and welding on this car. I say what a brilliant car to learn things on! Thanks to James for uploading the photos, and I wish him luck, and another Hunter in the future! ;)
