Shah In Paykan

Mohammad-Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran shown here at the opening ceremony of Iran National (Iran Khodro), where the production of Paykan began in the late 60s.
Shah was an avid car fan and collector; among him and the Royal Family there were an impressive array of cars. The most notable one was Shah’s custome built 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, which has gone through an amazing restoration lately. He actually owned 2 Miuras the other one was a Miura SVJ, this one also is outside of Iran now, and was purchased for $490,000 by actor Nicholas Cage. Cage sold it to a collector in the UK for an undisclosed sum in 2004.

You can see a collection of Shah & the Royal Family cars here at the National Car Museum of Iran.

And you can see a picture of Shah with Enzo Ferrari himself here!

The Lockheed Mystery...

71 Hillman Hunter Estate

A nice example of the Hillman Hunter estate (Station Wagon). I believe this has to be a custom paint job, I don't think Rootes offered any two-tone colors. This car is an Automatic, very rare in the UK.

Yes these Reliant Scimitar GTE SE5 Tail-Lamps are also from the Hillman Hunter.

Hillman Hunter GT In Australia

Hillman Hunter in Australia. I believe those double-decker Tail-Lamps were unique to the Australian Market. Nice Wheel & Tire package!

Update: Those taillights were used in other market also, like in South Africans Hunters.

Aston Martin Vantage's Tail-Lamps

Yes it is true, these Tail-Lamps on the Aston Martin Vantage are indeed from the Hillman Hunter. It was very common back in the seventies, specially on British & Italian Cars, to share exterior parts with each other instead of tooling up new ones.

Sunbeam Arrow In Toronto, Canada

This is an Automatic Sunbeam Arrow, the exported version of Hillman Hunter for North American market, it is currently owned by an Iranian in Toronto, Canada. Notice that he has already replaced the badges with the Iran Khodro's logo.
