28th Annual Battle Of The Brits

I woke up the Gazelle this past Sunday, and drove her to The Battle Of Brits! She was a HIT! ;) I had lots of people asking questions about her, and Chrysler Rootes history. I had quite a few British gentlemen telling me that either themselves or their Dads used to own a Hunter. Ok... I will admit that there were also few confused faces standing there too! But... this was a fantastic show, make sure to check it out next year if you can.

Also that beautiful 1954 Singer belongs to Kieth, I want thank him here for being so supportive!

  1. I am so honored to be featured on your Paykan blog! although the last photo is my favorite, that lotus doesn't stand a chance parked within such close proximity to your car! the nerve ; )

  2. Lana,

Yes, you should be!... You are among the selected few to be featured or mentioned in my Blog so far, so feel very special now! ;)

  3. ...I haved lived through some dark days of British history, including the controversial invasion of Iraq, but never has any of these events, however henous, made me ashamed to call myself British...but seeing this dreadful and miserable "Arrow" derivative amongst the real classics makes me hang my head in shame...thanks for the new experince Shahin..! :o)

  4. Wow this is brilliant.
    Finally amongst fellow comrades.
Now I wish more than ever that Mansoor was still alive.

  5. Kamyar! Yes man! You still need to send me more Mansour photos, I know that he is dead, but he lives on where it matter, in our Hearts! ;)
