While I was trying to collect my jaw from the floor Rick gave me a key and said "Fire It Up!"... I was floored!!!! I couldn't believe that he got the engine running!... He had rebuilt the carburetor, got a new thermostat housing put in... and she fired up after my 2nd attempt!... I kept asking him how this could be possible? the car had sat outdoors for 20+ years?!!! He even had it out for a little spin a week before and thought that transmission was in good order, we weren't going to try that though because the brakes were shot.
We had a long nice chat about all things Arrows, I said my farewells and left with a big smile on my face; another Arrow has been saved and I can't think of a nicer person than Rick to do the restoration job! ;)
AMAZING.IT SOUNDS LIKE A MIRACLE.TWO DECADES OF SITTING AROUND AND STILL DID NOT REQUIRE A REBUILD.IT SHOWS THE QUALITY OF PARTS THAT HAVE BEEN USED IN THESE CARS(1725CC IS A CHAMP COMPARE TO OTHER SHORTLIVED BRITISH CARS).MAY GGOD BLESS PAYKAN&ALL HIS FOREIN BROTHERS.AMIN
