Blue Machine Update#2

I received an email from Shelley saying that NUL 969L used to belong to her husband back in 1978! Thanks Shelly for sending me the photo, I'm sure that Duncan (current owner) would really appreciate this. Yellow Perfection Revisited

I received these photos from Les the owner of this Yellow Perfection, what a beauty! Les bought this Hunter GLS in 1974, and was his regular road car for 11 years, he then restored it 20 years ago, did all the work except the painting.  Les I became a GLS fan after watching Bernard Unett racing them at Mallory Park in 1972/3. More about Unett and GLS racing later.

quattro777's GLS

I am so pleased to talk about another Hunter GLS here, this one belongs to my good friend quattro777. After years of searching for a GLS he finally came across this 1973 yellow beauty. The car is now stripped to the shell and welding has begun! Wish you all the luck mate, I am so proud of what you are doing to this car, and can't wait to see it all done! Keep us posted on the progress!

I've been wanting to post an update on Duncan's Blue Machine. He is been busy stripping and welding the beast, what an amazing undertaking! I personally can't wait to see the finished product.

Holy S***!!!... This must be a rocket!... Although I wished it was done as a genuine GLS with its magnificent Holbay engine, but it is hard to argue with more HP!...

Blue Machine

Duncan used to own a 1975 GLS in late 70s up to 80s but had to sell the car. Last August he came across this 72 Hillman Hunter GLS and purchased it! He is in the process of restoring it. Wish you all the luck mate! Great Find!
