Children At Work

Brilliant artworks from a Rootes accessories brochure, images provided by my good friend Ian. Featuring some of the Arrow series models: Sunbeam Rapier, Humber Sceptre MKIII, Singer Vogue, Hunter MKI, and Hunter MKII. I didn't know Rootes were involved in child labour! ;)

Rapier

Although that this blog is about the Arrow series, but I am oblige to mention the Subeam Rapier Coupe Fastback, which was an attempt by Rootes to "stylized" the Arrow platform.

The Arrow Rapier launched in October 1967, was a coupé based on the chassis of the Hillman Hunter Estate. Although the Rapier used the tail lamps and rear valance from the Hunter Estate, the rest of its structure was unique. In all, 46,204 were produced from 1967-76.

Ok... lets get back to our PaykanHunter business shall we?... ;)
