This Hunter variation believe it or not was done by Ginetta. It was fiberglass body over the Hillman Hunter. I feel a bit sorry for this car, its so... how should I put it?... Confused?

Update: This looks to be a Series2 example, cause it has a one piece lift-gate and the fuel cap is located to the side.

Humber CRIME!!!...

This heinous crime happened back in 2004. Even if you don't care for Humber Scpetre Wagon, you got feel sorry for this car man... I mean the car was just in beautiful shape! What a shame really... why couldn't they find one of these to torch instead!... ;)

John & Barry standing next to their 1968 London to Sydney Rally Hillman Hunter Replica & a Paykan in Northern Tehran. The 3rd picture from the top are my friends Sohrab & Sina who got a chance to hang out with them while they were traveling through Iran. John & Barry are in Pakistan now near the border of India. - 1966-70 Singer/Sunbeam Vogue or Singer/Sunbeam Gazelle, and early model year Paykan

Missing in this picture is GLS, Hunter MK2 & MK3, and couple of Australian marks. So... your head is spinning by now, isn't it? Believe me, I'm still learning Rootes's Arrow body marketing schemes too, I'm thinking I can submit a PHD thesis on this. ;)

Count The Paykans#2

There was a time, not too long ago, that almost all of Iran's Taxis were Paykans, believe it or not they would fit 5 passenger at the same time in them. 3 people in the back and 2 on the front passenger seat, including the diver the poor Paykans were carrying 6 peoples through the notorious Iranian traffic.
