Luis' Hunter

Luis from Peru has sent me these pictures of his 1977 Hillman Hunter! It looks like there is good number of Hunters still exist out there, but unfortunately parts are not widely available for them.

Luis also mentions that these were locally assembled cars, I need to dig in more to see what Rootes were up to in Peru, but for now I am just so happy that I have a new friend in that beautiful country! :)

A Paykan Taxi with some sort of an aftermarket front grille that has the Chrysler Pentastar emblem on it!? Wow now that is Taxi owner that knows its Rootes! ;)

Photo is from the DreamTrip, this couple has traveled all over the Europe and Asia in a 1992 SAAB 900 with a camper attached on top of it! You can actually see the camper in he background in this photo. Respect!
